P@rt.dk offers an inspiring platform where international presenters get a unique chance to meet leading directors, choreographers, artists and producers working in Denmark and thus create opportunities for collaboration. The programme covers most of the performing arts: theatre, dance, new drama, performance, contemporary circus, site-specific work and music theatre, and it includes both extracts and performances in full length.

In November 2009 Copenhagen International Theatre organised the second edition of p@rt.dk – an international showcase for Danish performing arts. 82 international presenters participated in the two-day platform presenting 37 Danish artists.

The results of the first international showcase for Danish performing arts in 2006 were absolutely convincing. Following p@rt.dk 06 around 30 Danish companies and artists were invited to present their work internationally and to take part in international collaborations and exchange programmes. The results of p@rt.dk 09 so far also imply an increasing interest in Danish performing arts, and several companies have already been invited abroad.

P@rt.dk 06 and 09 were organised by Copenhagen International Theatre and commissioned and funded by the Danish Arts Council Committee for the Performing Arts.
